Education Model
Based on Dr. C’s research, detailed in her doctoral dissertation, three main elements of positive attitudes and successful behaviors are needed to be present when accessing a new level of success, whether academic, personal, or professional.
1. Rigorous Preparation through Customizable Services: Being prepared helps create access to scaling to the top of the mountain. Coming in ready and staying ready helps to successfully compete as well as it keeps skills sharp! Being prepared also helps to leverage better problem-solvers and ethical decision-makers across all types of organizations.
2. High Intrinsic Motivation Development: No one can "make" you do anything. Having a high sense of "go-getterness" directed toward achieving a goal is necessary for overcoming adversity and setbacks that everyone faces at some point in his/her life. It's the call from within to keep going; living for something more - purpose!
3. Opportunities for Growth: Development that meets growing and shifting needs, skills, and perspectives at all levels and stages of learning and talent acquisition.
As a result, the BNC Educational Services, LLC Education Model was developed by combining the three most salient research outcomes from the reflections of successful life-long learners and experienced professionals with three, basic guiding principles and core values, rooted in the Four Paradigms of Ethical Behaviors of Successful Decision-Makers (Shapiro & Stefkovich, 2010):
1. Quality (Ethic of Care): To provide affordable, yet top-notch educational services to help unique learners and aspiring professionals find their individual voice in a world of choice so that they can equitably access their place in a 21st Century society where the skills needed to successfully compete are rapidly changing.
2. Equity (Ethic of Justice): To celebrate and grow the diverse perspectives and learning needs of learners and aspiring professionals alike by allowing the client to craft learning goals and curriculum designs to achieve unique and creative academic and professional outcomes. All classes, workshops, trainings, and other related academic and professional services are personalized and progressive, created from initial consultations, professional design, and ongoing evaluation and support. Group classes just as individualized settings include elements of personalized and goal-targeted learning, adaptable for all.
3. Inspiration (Ethic of the Community & Profession): To inspire all service recipients an opportunity to develop a love for life-long learning and "paying it forward" while leading with truth, operating in your own authenticity.
4. Growth (Ethic of Critique): To provide, utilize, and motivate others through constructive feedback that aims to help individuals and groups "land on their feet" when working toward new goals, placing growth opportunities along their pathway, guided by self-exploration.
About the Company
BNC Educational Services, LLC was founded by Dr. Brittany N. Clausell, Ed.D. in November 2020.
"Dr. C" as her beloved students call her, decided that something was missing from the world of educational services and consulting. That gap was finding a way to transfer and apply "inspiration, exploration, and authentic purpose" from life lessons to classroom lessons.
As a Multilingual, BIPOC native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. C knew that her work in education in Minnesota, home to one of the largest Achievement Gaps in the nation, would present its own set of challenges. With so many changes to schools, programming, learning centers/daycares, new consultants, and infintie resources already established in her community and online, Dr. C knew that her approach to doing the work had to come from a deeper place- an inspired purpose.
Therefore, in November 2020, during the height of the 2019 Pandemic, Dr. C heard the call to open her own educational services practice. Working for others, supporting educational models that were not successful or purposeful was no longer fitting the bill. There had to be a way for Dr. C to stand firmly upon her ancestors' values of authenticy, respect, and inspiration while doing the work, helping others to realize their own life purpose while becoming the better, most authentic versions of themselves.

With 20 years and counting of direct experience in the field of education and diverse communities, Dr. C has utlized her work as a Pre-K-12 classroom teacher, school administrator/educational leader, college instructor, community education instructor, private tutor, and life/career coach to realize what it is that all students of life seek- an authentic, respectful, and inspirational opportunity to develop themselves along their life path.
